FAQ

1. What exactly do you do and what methods do you use?

I support people in reconnecting with themselves – their body, emotions, and inner wisdom, so they can feel clearer, calmer, and more confident in life. I use a blend of methods like Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, coaching tools, and body awareness practices.

This means we don’t just talk about your challenges – we feel into them. I’ll help you notice what’s really going on underneath (thoughts, body sensations, emotions), so you can shift from being stuck or overwhelmed to feeling more in tune, relaxed, and in charge of your life.

2. What is IFS?

IFS – Internal Family Systems – is a gentle and insightful way to understand your emotions. It helps you explore different parts of your inner world, like the inner critic, the part that feels anxious or the one that wants to protect you, so that you can listen to them with curiosity instead of fighting them. This approach brings more self-acceptance, ease, and clarity in making decisions.

3. Is this therapy?

Nope, I’m not a therapist. What I do is coaching informed by therapeutic tools like IFS and body awareness. Therapy often goes deep into your past and healing wounds, while coaching focuses more on where you are now and where you want to go. That said, in my sessions there is space for emotions, inner work, and healing – just in a way that stays within a coaching frame. If you’re in therapy already, this can actually complement it beautifully.

4. What is your background and how did you come to do this work?

I used to work in IT sector of startups and corporate world until I realized that I was living a life that looked good on the outside but didn’t feel right inside. I started exploring other paths, became a certified coach, yoga teacher, and later discovered Internal Family Systems, which completely changed how I relate to myself and others. Now I help people do the same – step into a more connected, aligned life, with their body and intuition as allies.

5. What problems do you most often help solve?

I mostly work with people who struggle with low self-confidence, making decisions, experience emotional instability. They often struggle with:

  • overthinking and self-doubt
  • emotional overwhelm or not knowing what they feel at all
  • difficulty setting boundaries
  • decision paralysis, especially around career or life direction
  • lack of clarity or confidence
  • not feeling at home in their body

I help overcome the fear of change and develop self-awareness through understanding emotions.

6. What results can I expect from working with you?

Clients often come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what they really want – and they leave with clarity, calm, and confidence. Through our work, you’ll learn to:

  • Trust yourself and make aligned decisions without overthinking
  • Understand and manage emotions instead of being flooded by them
  • Recognize and follow your body’s signals (yes, your body does know!)
  • Release tension and feel more grounded, present, and safe
  • Build unshakable self-confidence
  • Gain practical tools to handle challenges and live more intentionally

It’s about coming back to yourself.

7. Why does body-mind connection work?

Your body and mind are closely connected. Often, emotions, stress, and fears manifest in the body through tension, discomfort, or pain. In our work together, you’ll learn how to read these signals and better understand what your body is trying to tell you.

By connecting with your body, you release emotional blocks that may be holding you back from making decisions and growing. It provides you with the tools to not only better understand your thoughts and emotions but also respond to them in a way that supports your goals and values.

This approach allows for a deeper and more balanced transformation, encompassing both your body and mind, leading to more lasting and effective results.

8. What do body-mind connection sessions look like?

A Body-Mind Connection session helps you explore emotions and understand your needs. I use IFS (Internal Family System) and somatic methods.

  1. Initial Conversation:
We’ll start with a chat to uncover your current focus, whether it’s a challenge or an emotion, and set clear intentions to personalize the session to your needs.
  2. Exploration:
I’ll guide you to observe your internal experience, your thoughts, emotions, and sensations with curiosity and compassion, uncovering what they may need from you.
  3. Connection:
We’ll work with the emotions or patterns that emerge, helping you build a deeper understanding of yourself and explore new ways of relating to your experiences.
  4. Reflection:
You’ll reflect on your discoveries and share any insights. Together, we’ll discuss grounding tools or next steps to help you continue your journey.

Each Body-Mind Connection session is tailored to your needs and pace, allowing you to gradually build a deeper connection with your body and mind.

9. What if I feel uncomfortable being in my body or expressing emotions?

That’s actually more common than you think and totally okay. We go gently, at your pace. You don’t need to have it all figured out or “be ready.” Sometimes just noticing that discomfort is the beginning of a powerful shift. You’ll never be pushed – I’ll be there with you, helping you feel safe as you start to build that connection in a way that feels natural.

10. How long does the process take and how many sessions will you need?

The length of the process depends on your individual needs and goals. I typically recommend starting with 5 sessions to see if you like it and how it affects you.

11. Are sessions with you suitable for me if I have health issues?

If you have any health concerns, it’s always a good idea to discuss them before starting our work together. I tailor each session to your abilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.

12. Do you offer online sessions?

Yes! Almost all of my sessions are online and they work beautifully. You just need a quiet space, a good internet connection, and a bit of curiosity. If you’re unsure about how it works, feel free to reach out and ask.

13. What languages do you work in?

English and Polish fluently. I also speak a good level of Portuguese (and love practicing it!), but for deeper emotional work I usually stick with the first two. If you’re not sure – reach out and we’ll see what feels best!

14. How can I book my first session?

To book your first session, you can contact me through the contact form on the website, send an email, or simply pick a date in the calendar on my website.
